“I’ve had a driving phobia for 20 years. A panic attack on a motorway left me with a fear of not just driving on motorways but of any fast or unfamiliar road. I’d got to the point where I was adding 2 hours onto a 3 hour journey just to avoid motorways and fast roads. I had tried driving on dual carriageways but would end up feeling anxious and sweating profusely. I was at the point that even being a passenger on a motorway or fast road caused severe anxiety Three hypnotherapy sessions with Lisa have been life changing. After an initial session where she asked me lots of questions and formulated a plan, she used relaxation techniques, anchoring techniques and hypnotherapy. It really has worked. I’ve driven on unfamiliar dual carriageways with confidence and haven’t felt anxious at all. I’ve been able to overtake and keep up with traffic. This is amazing progress for me.
